Dear Patrons:

COVID19 Library

As we work on returning to whatever our new normal is these days, we continue to be cautious and will keep the health and safety of our patrons and staff in mind. We are balancing the return of in-house programs with both hybrid and virtual offerings to meet the needs of patrons who are at different comfort levels of interaction.

We have heard from many of you how the Library has helped you through the pandemic by providing a combination of information, entertainment, ways to deal with, and escape from, stress, alternate ways to attend programs, and by offering curbside service and Materials by Mail to minimize coming into the library. Thank you for your feedback. This is truly a time when your library is an important and necessary institution for the community, and we are glad to be able to help you through this time.

As we look ahead to our new normal, we are also looking ahead to the future of library service and what added benefits we can bring to the community. We have two active buildings in two separate areas of the community, and we are committed to providing the best service we can to the entire community.

I know this has been a very difficult time for many people, and the upcoming holiday season might make things even harder for some. If there is anything we can do to help anyone, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at 631-427-5165, ext. 206 or email me at .

Wishing you all a happy and healthy fall and holiday season.

Warm Regards,

– Joanne Adam, Library Director
