Help A Vet! HPL Drive for the Northport VA Center
Main Lobby • September 3 through November 8

The Library will be collecting useful items for local veterans who receive services at the Northport VA Medical Center. We will accept new packaged toiletry items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, brushes, and combs. The Medical Center also needs new T- shirts (large), socks, hats, and gloves.

The VA’s wish list also includes new or gently used small appliances such as can openers, toasters, coffee makers, pots, pans and kitchen utensils for veterans who are moving into their own apartments.

All donations will go directly to the Inpatient Program and the Homeless Veteran Program at the Northport VA Medical Center.

Please drop off your donations in the red, white and blue box in our lobby. We hope to provide these items to the VA Medical Center for Veteran’s Day.
