Our New Catalog, ENCORE

Huntington Public Library upgraded to a new online catalog, called ENCORE, on February 12, 2013. Your favorite functions remain, e.g., Program Registration, Reading History, etc., now with expanded search options, easier limiting capabilities, and a simpler, more versatile interface. Library staff is always available to address your questions pertaining to Search.

Highlights of the New Catalog...A New Way to Search!

A SINGLE SEARCH BOX allows you to enter the exact search terms you are looking for.

LIMIT YOUR SELECTION: Select easy links on the left of the screen to limit your search results by collection, format and/or publication date; for example, you may want to limit your list to just adult or juvenile materials, just DVDs or eBooks, or just items published after 2010.

RELEVANT JOURNAL ARTICLES: Some of the library's subscription databases are now integrated into the catalog, so journal articles are included automatically in your search results. Print or email articles without leaving the catalog!

ACCESS ALL LIBRARIES IN SUFFOLK & NASSAU: Select LI LINK Expanded Search to include the collections at all Suffolk and Nassau public libraries. Huntington Public Library cardholders may request items and have them sent to the Huntington Main Library or the Huntington Station Branch for pick up.
