This is an interactive workshop series which provides information on living healthy and managing chronic conditions. It is for individuals who wish to improve the aging process and/or have an ongoing health condition including arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, respiratory problems, diabetes and orthopedic conditions. Huntington Public Library received a substantial rebate from PSEG for the LED lighting conversion project completed earlier this year. We thank PSEG for providing these cost saving initiatives to help us control costs while improving our facility for taxpayers.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we will once again be partnering with Island Harvest to provide free lunch to families with children up to 18-years of age at the Station Branch throughout the summer. A nutritious lunch will be delivered to the library and served at 12:00 pm. There will be crafts for children after lunch. Visiting teachers will be reading to the children on Wednesdays.
No registration required. Open to all.
